Toten Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 I have the Thrustmaster HOTAS Warthog throttles, and enjoy the throttle start procedure. Unfortunately after trying to use a Target GUI profile to have mapped keys for teamspeak, I can no longer use this feature. The throttle is mapped fine and it recognizes it when I start from the runway but if I do a ramp start and launch the mission with the throttles behind the ramp, or in front, it does not recognize them (at least no movement is shown and the engines don't start). I have looked through the forum for similar issues and found some threads that discussed the sync feature. I tried it and it did not make a difference. Not sure what is wrong, but I miss doing the ramp start procedure. :noexpression: Toten Tiger-Spit-Viggen-Fishbed-Sabre-Dora-Kurfurst-Mustang-Huey-Warthog-Hip-Black Shark Driver (Not necessarily in that order) MSI 970A-G40 MoBo, AMD FX-8350 8 Core, Patriot Viper 24 GB DDR3, Nvidia Ge Force 1060 3 GB GPU
Kaiza Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 Sorry not sure how to fix that fault, however you shouldn't need TARGET to assign keys for teamspeak. You can map keys directly. You just have to make sure your WH is set up correctly. Do this by going into your controller in device manager and ensure no buttons are activate. You should now be able to assign any key to teamspeak directly without TARGET. Unfortunately after trying to use a Target GUI profile to have mapped keys for teamspeak, I can no longer use this feature. When you use Target, it changes the identity of your Warthog. Without Target you will have a column (in Options>Controls) for the Stick and Throttle. Once Target is in play, you will have a column for Warthog Combined. That is now the active column for both your stick and throttle, assuming you included both when you created the profile. Unlike the two standalone controllers, the Warthog Combined controller is not mapped correctly by default. In fact, it actually can't be mapped the way it should be because the Warthog Combined lua file does not contain all of the correct commands. This problem affects your throttle idle detents and most of the switches on the base of the throttle. Fixing that requires creating a correct lua file by hand. I no longer use Target in the game, but it sounds like I might need to repair the .lua file.
