This is not a bug or a problem, but I do not know where else to ask my question except maybe in the mods section.

I like the head movement but is there a way to tone it down a bit in particular the vertical head movement in relation to positive G's. To me it feels like when I pull 4+ G's my players point of view is in his "stomach".

Yeah - I know what you mean -- sometimes it looks like your neck is really weak.

A: Are you looking for a "user-friendly answer" ?! - there is no option in-game

B: Do you want to tweak it and you are able to tweak it via a file-editor ?- and maybe get lost in the rabbit-hole ?!

Than choose your answer and I will tell you tomorrow how to tweak the head movement - just be prepared to have many try'n'errors until it will feel "right" for you ( this also depends heavy on your used monitor-size and head-position...)

... I just ask you because it would make no sense for me to write several pages for a guide , if you just say that this is too much work for you.

this means B ?...

if "B" is your option:

Get yourself a proper file-editor (Notepad++) and examine the

Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Config\View\View.lua

especially between line #188 and line #198

Edit:

(sorry I have to go sleep now - we will meet again on this channel in about 30houers.)

but in the meantime:

try to tell me as precise as you can what is worrying you the most.

And try to express it in X/Y/Z/Roll movement .

Sorry!

Seems that I was too optimistic as I promised to find a fix.

I was very certain that it is buried somewhere in the View.lua

Especially in this function at line #232:

head_roll_shaking = true

head_roll_shaking_max = 30.0 -- 30.0

head_roll_shaking_compensation_gain = 0.3 -- 0.3

But didn't made a significant change -whatever I tried.

Maybe someone will come up soon with a solution to turn it down a little.

But to give you a cold comfort:P... - When you think that you have problems... see what I'm struggling with :D : Fine-tune FFB gun effect for the Su-25T

... I'm still searching for a solution :)
