mr_mojo97 Posted June 11, 2012 Posted June 11, 2012 Does anyone know if the TO trim button is suppsed to remain lit when you press it? Mine lights briefly once when pressed then goes back out. Is this right and does it actually work on the sim? I've never really noticed a difference anyways. 159th_Viper Posted June 11, 2012 Posted June 11, 2012 Yes, that is the correct behaviour and yes, it does work in-SIM. Trim your flightstick well forward and press the button and see what happens. SmokeyTheLung Posted June 11, 2012 Posted June 11, 2012 Just to clarify a little; you need to press and hold the TO trim button to neutralize trim input. It can take a few seconds depending on the amount of trim in the system System specifications: Computer, joystick, DCS world, Beer
FreeFall Posted June 12, 2012 Posted June 12, 2012 Good thread: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=1437306#post1437306
towsim Posted June 12, 2012 Posted June 12, 2012 SmokeyTheLung is right. You need to hold the button down until the indication is lit. The indication light tells you, that the takeoff trim is established. In almost all cases you will find, that the indication is lit immediately when pressing the button. It simply tells you that the stick was in the propper trim position already. Regards Mike [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
