Hi guys,

One thing that I feel like is missing is more ground crews, yes you see soldiers on the airfields and what not but I'm talking about a more realistic feel when you taxi, signs to the runways would be great, also I wanna see a guy in front of my plane giving me signs when to stop, when to move, and all that like you see on the actual bases

Ryan that's sick, altho the carrier crews are way busier than the airport crews, It would be a good start considering that the f-14 is coming, it will need some carrier crews to make it better eel right, start with the airport crews, even things like what parking spot you are HAVE TO park at would be cool.

One can only hope!

Just mo-cap Paulrkii on a busy day :D

It'd be nice to have and would certainly liven up the deck of a carrier for the IRIS F-14. If given the opportunity I wouldn't mind putting my animation chops to use.

The right man in the wrong place makes all the difference in the world.

Well, in all respects it would be nice, but ED is more busy modelling detailed aircraft instruments, and flight dynamics. That is the only reason we don't bark so much. But I think a 3rd party add-on from a company like Abacus or whoever created the carrier pops, would be in order once the final product we have. ya?

Fat T is above, thin T is below. Long T is faster, Short T is slower. Open triangle is AWACS, closed triangle is your own sensors. Double dash is friendly, Single dash is enemy. Circle is friendly. Strobe is jammer. Strobe to dash is under 35 km. HDD is 7 times range key. Radar to 160 km, IRST to 10 km. Stay low, but never slow.

All ya need to model are some bread trucks with 6-8 guy riding around waiting for a red ball and a few people wearing acu pants and greasy teashirts ... (tounge firmly planted in cheek and with regards to the wrench benders, age mechs and swat team members in the group)

Actually I fear it would be a little bit complicated, with believable animations for the ground crew (presently infantry animations are... Let's say you don't want to see them from less than a hundred yards away).

But, sure, it would be great. I would totally love anything improving immersion on the ground. Also, I don't know if arming areas are still used before the jets line-up on the runway (I know they were used in the 1970's), but if they are, that would be nice also. Ground crew removing security pins on bomb fuzes would make you feel like you're actually going to war.
