mr_mojo97 Posted June 13, 2012 Posted June 13, 2012 Hi all, I've been finding with some mission I cannot get enough speed to take off with - it maybe gets to about 90 knots and off the runway I go. Some mission are perfectly fine though. Any ideas, am I not switching something on maybe. I started in the campaign, and this is what happens. Also it zig zags on the runways too which is funny to watch my wingman crap his pants!! metalnwood Posted June 13, 2012 Posted June 13, 2012 Saitek combat rudders. Well, possibly. I find it is very easy to apply brake pressure when using the rudder, it's almost impossible for it to not register on my pair. So, you could possibly be applying brakes as well. Also, mine have the issue that they stick and are often on when they are not. It's only a DCS thing, no issue in windows or other games. Maybe go in to the controls and bring up the axis tune for brakes and see if they combat pedals are behaving as expected. Worth a shot.
Dejjvid Posted June 13, 2012 Posted June 13, 2012 50% deadzone on the brakes does the trick. i7 8700K | GTX 1080 Ti | 32GB RAM | 500GB M.2 SSD | TIR5 w/ Trackclip Pro | TM Hotas Warthog | Saitek Pro Flight Rudder [sigpic]http://www.132virtualwing.org[/sigpic]
mr_mojo97 Posted June 13, 2012 Author Posted June 13, 2012 What does the trick even more................ Somehow my axis had been inverted so when I thought the brakes were off - they were on!!!!!!
