JCook Posted June 21, 2012 Posted June 21, 2012 I've not needed a multi-monitor setup before my A10C sim pit project and not sure how the graphics cards get configured. I'm assuming I'll need as much RAM on the card as possible and the GPU needs to be high performance - and it also needs several outputs. Probably no one card is going to cover all the monitors, of various sizes, that are needed for the pit. Lets say the card has 4 outputs, If I add a second card (same type) - do I now have 8 outputs to use for the sim? Do these need to be in an SLI or crossfire configuration? Thanks John
Gremlin77 Posted June 22, 2012 Posted June 22, 2012 you will have 8 outputs i think. if you use crossfire or sli you only have the outputs of one card. i use two identical cards with 3 outputs each, makes 6 monitors connected. visit my build thread Gremlin's A-10  http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=86916
metalnwood Posted June 22, 2012 Posted June 22, 2012 Gremlin is correct. You could also get a 6 output card like the asus 7970 I have.
