I would LOVE ideas on why my mouse doesn't work in the sim! At All!

Hey!

Just bought the software, installed it, tried to run it…and found that my mouse would not appear! I am running Windows 7 on a Dell Alienware system. It just makes no sense! Any input is MORE than welcome! Haven't even been able to try it out yet! Yikes!

...on which layer of what exact in-game mode?

What I throw atcha:

1- bad usb port. try using other ports

2- try mouse on a separate program

3- reinstall sim

4- make sure usb port is recognized as mouse.

5- did you restart following installation or did you play immediately? always restart.

Just to make sure.. Uhh..

 

Did you try ALT + C to enable the on-screen mouse cursor?

I know it might sound stupid but you didn't provide much info..

0- did you tried to switch your system off and than on again? Is a power-cable plugged?

My mouse often doesn't work unless i type Alt-Tab, switch to windows explorer (or anything else) then get back in the sim by clicking it in the app bar.

But i'm sure you tried that already, isn't it ?

Doesn't work when you're in menus, or doesn't work once in cockpit?
