For some reason the flight manual never explains of which weapon station numbers which on the aircraft by diagram or text. I realize you can find out whats on a station number on the DSMS page but can anyone help me point out which is which on the aircraft frame? How are they numbered when facing the cockpit? Are they numbered differently on the A10A?

Facing forward, Station 1 is on the far left and Station 11 is on the far right. Stations 3 and 9 are outboard of the gear pod and are the only stations that will accept Maverick missiles. Stations 5 and 7 are on the fuselage, and Station 6 is located between them on the fuselage centerline; you can't have anything loaded on 6 if anything is loaded on 5 or 7.

You could also look at the DSMS page and then F2 to free camera view and work it out from there to satisfy your curiosity.
