Graphics cards / Multi monitor

Could someone with experience on using multiple graphics cards answer this.

If I have 2 graphics cards same mfg and same type would I be able to use all of the outputs from both boards for my monitors? For example 2 nVidia cards each with 2 gb and 4 outputs - would that give me 8 total monitors I could connect for my A10 pit?

There are a lot of detailed limitations with multi-display. Will you be running things in fullscreen mode or in windowed mode? People typically span in fullscreen mode for games. Fullscreen mode spanning for NVIDIA forces 3x1 span only. AMD is significantly more accommodating for spanning modes.
