DCS A-10C has been running flawlessly for about a month, but now its starting to get unplayeble for me...

It seems to appear at random, around every 10mins (atleast) the whole screen goes black for a small period of time (3-7sec) then it returns in intervalls to normal, and then goes black again, a few times it even crashes to desktop.

any1 got similair issue with Nvidia cards? ive seen some threads about ATI having this issue...

Rig:

GTX480 (single card, standard clock)

intel i7 950 (standard clock)

6gb DDR3 RAM (Corsair 1600mhz)

ASUS P6T SE motherboard

Display driver:

NVIDIA 296.10

hope i can solve this issue since ive just ordered a TrackIR5, MFCD's and a Thrustmaster HOTAS Warthog stick :) hope it will be playeble when that arrives

Thanks for coming back and the report!:)

I was already thinking that you are living on a Vulcan and burned alive!:D

Glad you sort it!

If you fly the BlackShark:

(Just looking at your post-count)

So here comes my "standard Ka-50 newbie reply" wink.gif:

Read also besides the manual this:

DCS: Black Shark...

Technical, Simplified

-Coaxial Rotor Aerodynamics

-Trimming the Ka-50 Black Shark <<<!!!! very important to understand this fully!

-Part 1 - Autopilot <<<this too!

-Part 2 - Autopilot

And when you still have time , read this too:

A Stick and Rudder Man's Guide

to DCS: Black Shark

Here is a useful tweak if you using real rudders:

How to unchain the rudder from trim - solution

Things you want to have some day too:

KA-50 collective: another picture-tale

Two MS FFB2 with Cougar Grip

Now there should be (for the next time) no questions left!smile.gif

Welcome aboard!
