There has been some speculation regarding this subject. Do you get a laser warning if a human player lases you. Now the answer is clear: NO! Now this could be Beta, I know, but I really want to be sure that this issue will be adressed because for me, it will be no longer attractive to fly KA50 with human CA players in the other team that have an unrealistic advantage. Ok if I get killed by a Tunguska that, as I learned today, does not use a laser range finder, I'm fine. But the only way to survive for me is by listening to the LWR. I really hope that laser using vehicles like the BMP-3, T72/80, Roland ADS, M2A2, US TOW launchers etc. will use their laser so that it can be recognized by the LWR/RWR.

This is how I tested it with a friend:

Mission KA50 vs BMP-3...

- He locked me and fired his laser beam riding tube launched ATGM. No warning.

- He used the JTAC lasing tool to lase me. No warning.

Reproduction should not require any further explanation...

It has already been stated that this is not implemented in the current CA.

Nate

I feel ashamed. Sorry.

Gepard SPAAA did make my LWR light up, though .

Sorry for being ignorant.

Player Gepard? I wasn't aware of that. Cool.

Nate

I don't know what else it could have been. One Gepard was speeding towards me (Player, yes). LWR was going mad. He started firing, I fired a Vikhr. Lasing stopped the moment I killed him.

So actual working lasers that can be detected for all vehicles is something that I want to see in the final version.
