Sceptre Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 Hi guys, I am really confused about all of this stuff; basically, what do I need to do to be able to fly my BS2 upgrade in dcs world? Also what must I do to have combined arms work I am getting it maybe tomorrow. I have DCS world version "1.1.2.1." I try and download the new update but it keeps failing and very dodgy speed. metalnwood Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 Yes, you need the new dcs world. If you get the torrent that should give you a working version corruption free. You need to have bs1 installed and activated. If you did it in the past then you are ready. If you already have BS2 installed then I think things are even better for you. Just install DCS world and then install the modules. It will only ask you for keys for things not already loaded in the stand alone version As far as CA, install it. There are a few missions that come with it, otherwise from my breif look it gives you extra fucntioanlity from the mission editor that allows you to use the map view to control and take over ai units. 1

metalnwood Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 I am using uTorrent. Where you download the files from the main site there is a small torrent file at the bottom, download that and use it in your torrent software.

OK thanks I will download uTorrent and give it a shot tomorrow. EDIT: I just tested uTorrent speed on the DCSW file; an amazing 400 kb/s! I do not have time to do it now, but I will try tomorrow, thanks +rep!
