foofighter Posted October 22, 2005 Posted October 22, 2005 Hello! I am running LockOn FC 1.11 on a WinXP 64 system and have a strange problem. During Flight the a/c pulls suddenly full up and the ingame stick is pulled completly back, but my TM Hotas Cougar is still in center position. First i thought it is may caused by a mad poti... but my cougar works fine in F4AF and FS2004, also in the game controller menu the stick works fine. So i went back to lock on and set all options to default, and checked the joystick axis again, all seems fine. back in the cockpit the problem was still there. My last solution was to reinstall LockOn, does not help :/ I have also a Logitech momo racing wheel and brd speed7 pedals pluged in, which i am using for racing Sims like Life for Speed. dont know if that could cause a problem... thy in advance :) greetings Andre Louis
Han Posted October 22, 2005 Posted October 22, 2005 When it is happens: have you any responsefrom joy buttons which is mapped in LockOn and other axis? You're sure that you have no USB connection problems? With Best Regards! Daniel Tuseyev Il-2: Battle of Stalingrad and Rise Of Flight projects manager
foofighter Posted October 22, 2005 Author Posted October 22, 2005 thx for the answer well, i am able to use my stick when that happens. i am able to recover the a/c and use any mapped button ... i am pretty sure, that there is no usb connection prob, cuz F4AF, FS2004, Live for Speed aso work without problems... but i will disco my wheel and the pedals and test it again
plug pray Posted October 22, 2005 Posted October 22, 2005 Yer wheel is FFB, right? I dont remember exactly, but the axes may be mixed up. Check it. And, for confidence, is everything ok with trimmers?

EmteZogaf Posted October 22, 2005 Posted October 22, 2005 Yep, I had the same problem with my gamepad. Just unassign every axis of all unneeded axis in the controls menu. It worked for me.

Have you any other game control devices in addition for TM HOTAS? If it is - than chech their axis assignements in LockOn options. This effect can be caused by duplicated pitch control on two devices. With Best Regards! Daniel Tuseyev Il-2: Battle of Stalingrad and Rise Of Flight projects manager
foofighter Posted October 23, 2005 Author Posted October 23, 2005 well, after a lot of testing, i found the problem. Because of using XP64, I installed FC yesterday on the existing LockOn and patched it with the just released 1.11 Patch. For the first "testflights" i mapped only a few buttons and axis cuz my only intention was to set up the graphics settings aso. I unpluged my wheel and the pedals, prob still there ... reinstalling the cougar doesnt help ... last thing i tried, was mapping all axis and buttons - problem was fixed :) I am getting a bit :icon_redf ... i thought all the time that mapping the axis and buttons is the problem, so i set them to default ... finally i can enjoy lock on ... thx for all the replys! greetings Andre Louis
Han Posted October 23, 2005 Posted October 23, 2005 I'm glad that you have a solution. :) With Best Regards! Daniel Tuseyev Il-2: Battle of Stalingrad and Rise Of Flight projects manager
Drakkhen Posted October 24, 2005 Posted October 24, 2005 last thing i tried, was mapping all axis and buttons - problem was fixed :) It really looks like the problem I have. I hope it's the same cause. I'll try this as soon as possible and feedback.
