redpiano Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 A friend of mine has an A10c key he doesn't use but it's attached to his email and account, can it be transferred to my account and email?
Nate--IRL-- Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 Ask your friend to open a support ticket on the Main DCS site, requesting the change in ownership to your account - note the key must be unused. Nate Ka-50 AutoPilot/stabilisation system description and operation by IvanK- Essential Reading
redpiano Posted July 12, 2012 Author Posted July 12, 2012 Alright well it's already been used so :\ Is the steam version of A10c any different or does it cause any problems? It's on sale for 16$ today.

Your steam key will work with those. Nate Edited July 12, 2012 by Nate--IRL-- Ka-50 AutoPilot/stabilisation system description and operation by IvanK- Essential Reading

Your steam key will work with those. Nate I purchased A-10C from Steam a few weeks ago when they had it on sale as well, and this is what I did also, except at that time I just downloaded and installed the full version from DCS with the Steam key - worked like a champ! Now I have the new module for DCS World, that went without issue as well, did not even have to enter a key. redpiano Posted July 12, 2012 Author Posted July 12, 2012 I already downloaded Blackshark 2 standalone version, I'm downloading the a10 module and dcs world now will I have to redownload the blackshark module or will it automatically integrate?
Nate--IRL-- Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 No - you must download the Black shark 2 module for DCS:-World - the stand alone version is obsolete. If you already have activated BS2 standalone (I presume you have) - the BS2 module for World will just work. dburne Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 I believe you will need to download the module. You can keep your Blackshark 2 standalone version installed as well if you wish, they will not interfere with each other. Nate--IRL-- Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 Can I transfer over the controls settings? Not recommended as it will likely break things. Nate Ka-50 AutoPilot/stabilisation system description and operation by IvanK- Essential Reading
redpiano Posted July 12, 2012 Author Posted July 12, 2012 Alright that's a shame. Thanks for all the help.
redpiano Posted July 13, 2012 Author Posted July 13, 2012 I installed DCS world and the two modules for ka50 and a10, now where do I put my downloaded missions and interactive training for Blackshark? I can' find any of the same folders in the DCS world directory.
