Spetz Posted July 13, 2012 Posted July 13, 2012 I just installed the newest 1.2 of DCS World, A10C and the patched Ka-50 after a full uninstall out the older 1.1.1.whatver versions. My problem is that 50% of the time the mouse won't activate the switch I am trying to use, in all the AC. The yellow crosshair is present, but when I mouse over the switch, nothing works (the green up/down, rotary..etc). The same thing when I start a mission with a few selectable flyables to pick from and try to pick what airframe I want to use. If I alt-tab out and back in, it works again 90% of the time, but occasionally won't recognize the switches again after a few minutes. This has only started since the new 1.2 versions. LAlt C works as it should, off and on for the mouse. EDIT ** I'm using a mission that I made in 1.1.1.whatver, perhaps that's the problem. Any other ideas?
Nate--IRL-- Posted July 13, 2012 Posted July 13, 2012 There is bug with the DCS window focus in 1.2.0, you must ALT-TAB out of DCS and back in again, at mission start to alleviate this. Nate Ka-50 AutoPilot/stabilisation system description and operation by IvanK- Essential Reading
Spetz Posted July 13, 2012 Author Posted July 13, 2012 Thanks. Alt-tabbing works, so I'll just continue doing that until fixed.
andyfoot Posted July 15, 2012 Posted July 15, 2012 Disable Aero option may be the cause of this. Other posts are pointing in this direction, try un-ticking this option
ALDEGA Posted July 15, 2012 Posted July 15, 2012 I have the impression that it's related to the "disable aero interface" option as well. It's not happening consistently though.

I have the same problem, what I found is that if you move the yellow cross hair to the far side, either side or top or bottom, you'll find that it turns to the regular arrow pointer that you'll see on you desk top, L click it and the screen will reduce to the task tray. Just click in the icon in the task tray and all is right. At least it is for me. All works fine for the duration. Hope this helps.
