SharpeXB Posted July 13, 2012 Posted July 13, 2012 (edited) In A-10 1.2.0 I want to edit the view config file but it says "access is denied" I can cut it and paste it out of the folder but it keeps asking for administrator permission, but I am able to edit it that way. That is Windows not DCS software that is complaining. Is it installed in the default location? Is UAC on? Those would be the issues not EDs product. Darkwolf187 Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 Click Start, type Notepad. Right click on the Notepad icon, click Run As Administrator. You now have a Notepad executable running elevated. Click File, Open, then browse to the file (you can't drag it onto the Notepad window). Make your changes.
