Is "Lock On: Modern Air Combat" the same game as "Lock On: Air Combat Simulation"?

Hi guys,

I love the look of LOMAC and Flaming Cliffs 2, and I know you need LOMAC before you can install and run either of the Flaming Cliffs addons, but I live in the UK and the only place I can find "Lock On: Modern Air Combat" is from websites and suppliers in the US.

Amazon.co.uk and UK-based suppliers only seem to carry "Lock On: Air Combat Simulation", which looks similar but has a few confusing differences. From what I can work out, both games are made by Ubisoft, they're set in the same place with the same campaign, allow the player to fly the same aircraft (with the exception ot the Su-33), but have two separate entries on the Ubisoft website (LOMAC here: http://www.ubi.com/us/games/info.aspx?pid=15 and LOACS here: http://www.ubi.com/UK/Games/Info.aspx?pId=571) with almost identical text but two different release dates.

Can anyone tell me if they're the same game? I'd hate to waste money buying LOACS only to be unable to use Flaming Cliffs.

Ah, if you're in the UK, go and look around your local Staples. There's usually a copy kicking around on their bargain spinny trolley thing. PC World might stock it too. It will be in a red box. I'm on my 3rd or 4th copy, lol! :D I keep losing it...

If I recall well, LOMAC and LOACS is the very same soft but there was a rename in entering the UK or european market when released, don't remember why. But actually, it's the same game.
