I just noticed that after I finally purchased the game from Steam, now I see that there is 1.2 out. Will I have any problems with this?

Shouldn't do.

I bought an additional copy of A-10C so I could run a dedicated World server on a second machine. Installed A-10C through Steam, ran it, closed it, installed World and the 1.2 A-10C add-on and all seems to have worked.

Can either of you tell me how to find the Activation Serial Number when you purchase from Steam? And, have you tried installing the software from the DCS download while using the Serial Number given by Steam?

If you go into your games list. Right click on DCS title and you should see the option to view cd key or serial number. You may have to go into options. It's been a long time since I have used that feature in Steam and my memory may not be serving me well right now.

Yes a right click on the game title in the Steam library should give you an option for the CD key. I just uninstalled my Steam version (save your config files!) then installed 1.2.0 from ED

Interestingly it doesn't ask you for the CD key to activate it. I don't know why.

Speaking of config files. I couldn't get 1.2.0 to recognize an axis on my CH pedals. But saving the config file from Steam solved that problem and mapped all the commands exactly as I had them before.
