Frequency to call Tanker

What is the frequency to call the refuel tanker ...when A-10 approaching for refueling...?????

In the first SS below you can see where the "comm" option is set to 150 AM beside the "BORT" number. This is the default option.

 

The downside to leaving it set to default.... If you have multiple tankers in the air covering different areas it can get pretty painful. Players will get confused as to which tanker they need to radio.

 

It's best to set the freq manually. Thus SS number 2. In SS #2 you can see the option to set the freq. It's under 'perform command' & then 'set frequency'. You can then type in any number and set to AM/FM.

 

As you can see in the arrangement window to the right under 'Advanced Waypoint Actions' it is set as number 1 in the list. The reason being is the sim will go in order. If set freq is last, well it will get to it after everything else is complete, thus you would not be able to radio the tanker until it has completed everything else in the list.

 

You can also see the optin to set it's TACAN channel and you obviously want to configure them differently for each Tanker as well.

 

With that said, if it's a simple mission with one Tanker, you can simply mannually edit the dafualt 'comm' from 150 to any freq as well. I simply prefer to manually configure the details for my Tankers, even their altitude.

Really wierd I had to open the SS in MS paint and hit save before they were recognized as valid image files....
