Razor5-1 Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 I don't know where else to put this but I recently made a mission and when the Gepard drives along it's tracks and wheels do not turn they are stationary all the time.
ED Team Groove Posted July 23, 2012 ED Team Posted July 23, 2012 Thanks for letting us know, i will report it into our internal bug database. Our Forum Rules: http://forums.eagle.ru/rules.php#en
ARM505 Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 It's channeling the spirit of the original Steel Beasts? (Famous for having stationary road wheels/tracks) Homage to the greats and all you know...
chokko Posted July 23, 2012 Posted July 23, 2012 I don't know where else to put this but I recently made a mission and when the Gepard drives along it's tracks and wheels do not turn they are stationary all the time. not calling you a liar but... i don't believe you :) http://bradensmith.com/dcsworld/video/gepard.avi warning...47mb maybe you have low animations/detail setting on (the setting that stops aircraft fans from spinning etc) ? Razor5-1 Posted July 23, 2012 Author Posted July 23, 2012 Chokko your right, the wheels do turn, but it was caused by my visib range being set to low, nothing else. When i changed it to high it worked! however the visib range being set to low is also responsible for this texture on the su-25T ECM pod. I'm sure this is a bug
ED Team USSR_Rik Posted July 23, 2012 ED Team Posted July 23, 2012 It's by design. When you set VISIB. RANGE = LOW, some objects replaced by low-polygon LOD. Men may keep a sort of level of good, but no man has ever been able to keep on one level of evil. That road goes down and down. Можно держаться на одном уровне добра, но никому и никогда не удавалось удержаться на одном уровне зла. Эта дорога ведёт вниз и вниз. G.K. Chesterton DCS World 2.5: Часто задаваемые вопросы
Razor5-1 Posted July 23, 2012 Author Posted July 23, 2012 Even when they are not far away? I thought it is only they are rendered when you are close by?
