DCS A10C Fresh Install From STEAM: Error Creating Process : Please Help

 

The Error just says: Error Creating Process Any IDEAS? Anyone?

I do not have any ideas. Steam version has always worked for me. Try downloading and installing it via ED's website. Your steam key will work for the install.

 

You can also download DCS World and install the a-10 module that way, also using your steam key.

 

EDIT: I forgot to mention that the standalone version (steam version) will not be updated any further since a-10 has been moved into DCS World. All further updates of the game will be done to DCS World and corresponding modules.

The only reason I got the steam version (and missed out on nevada) is in hope of logging hours using the steam client...if thats your reservation, you will be disappointed as steam does not log hours for DCS A-10C as it uses multiple exe files + no support for 64bit games. You will find it easier to just download and activate the game from the official DCS website.

So your saying Steam only runs the 32bit version of the sim?

Yeah i told him to download the dcs world, problem is then we cant fly together... I didn't want to install world because of all the bugs I see in it, being that it's a beta I'm not complaining. I like my install of 1.1.1.1

 

Question: How would I, if possible be able to install dcs world+ module but keep my 1.1.1.1 install of A10C separate? Without Problems? Ps I know where to download it...

 

Question 2: what do you mean u missed out on Nevada I thought its not out yet...

I'm still running only v1.1.1.1 standalone version, but AFAIK there is no problem at all. You can install both versions, standalone and world. There will be no conflict. You'll just have two versions installed on your hard drive.
