hawk4base Posted July 28, 2012 Posted July 28, 2012 Hi I just converted a mission for dcs a-10 1.1.1.1 to dcs world 1.20. In dcs a-10/ka50 i don't have the problem with warping. only the clients are effected, not the server, any ideas ?
HiJack Posted July 29, 2012 Posted July 29, 2012 I had that with old missions as well. I did not find why they were doing that but I changed my network configuration in Options on the multiplayer side to LAN and as far as I know the issue wendt away. I have not tested much on this so I cant say if that is the correct solution. (HJ)
Dejjvid Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 I can confirm that the network setting is essential for bigger missions and/or many clients. i7 8700K | GTX 1080 Ti | 32GB RAM | 500GB M.2 SSD | TIR5 w/ Trackclip Pro | TM Hotas Warthog | Saitek Pro Flight Rudder [sigpic]http://www.132virtualwing.org[/sigpic]
msalama Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 on the multiplayer side to LAN My client connections get too laggy if I do that I've found. ADSL 256 seems to work better in that regard however, but then you'll see plenty of disconnects... The DCS Mi-8MTV2. The best aviational BBW experience you could ever dream of.

Yes, I get disconnected using ADSL 256 all the time, when I thought it might be the server but it happens with any server I join. I switch to LAN and np at all, but it does get pretty laggy. msalama Posted August 3, 2012 Posted August 3, 2012 I switch to LAN and np at all, but it does get pretty laggy. How about ADSL 512? I'm considering using it, but am pretty sure it's laggy too. Or ADSL 128? Shouldn't have any packet flooding causing warps at least, but then there's the disconnect thing again. Hmmm... The DCS Mi-8MTV2. msalama Posted August 3, 2012 Posted August 3, 2012 And, oh, has anyone tried the modem connection setting BTW? The DCS Mi-8MTV2. The best aviational BBW experience you could ever dream of.
