Shein Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 I'm a pilot in real life, I play a lot of sims because I love them and to keep my rudimentary stick and rudder skills up to snuff. Recently, I've been running this one mission I made every night to see if it improved my dogfighting skills as time went on. It goes like this: I'm flying an F-15, and it pits me against 1 other F-15. If I shoot him down, it spawns 2 more. I shoot them down, it spawns 3 more. etc, etc etc. Anyway, I took a video of my best run so far, and here it is! If you'd like the mission to play yourself, I'd be happy to upload it

Shein Posted August 7, 2012 Author Posted August 7, 2012 Right now? Nothing. Don't have a flying job yet, I just graduated from embry riddle aeronautical in may, so I'm working on my CFI at the moment, then I hope to find a job flight instructing once that's finished. From there? corporate or cargo By the way, I'm a huge fan of your BS2 missions!

EtherealN Posted August 7, 2012 Posted August 7, 2012 and you seem to be hammering the AoA limiter. Yup, yank-n-bank, bleeding the energy. Ease off the stick a bit and you'll find the eagle become (even more) responsive to your inputs. :) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Daniel "EtherealN" Agorander | Даниэль "эфирныйн" Агорандер Intel i7 2600K @ 4.4GHz, ASUS Sabertooth P67, 8GB Corsair Vengeance @ 1600MHz, ASUS GTX 560Ti DirectCU II 1GB, Samsung 830series 512GB SSD, Corsair AX850w, two BENQ screens and TM HOTAS Warthog DCS: A-10C Warthog FAQ | DCS: P-51D FAQ | Remember to read the Forum Rules | | | Life of a Game Tester
Shein Posted August 7, 2012 Author Posted August 7, 2012 The labels are on yes, because I'm not that good yet. And yeah, I'm JUST now learning how not to lose energy
WildBillKelsoe Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 very nice mission from the looks of it. AWAITING ED NEW DAMAGE MODEL IMPLEMENTATION FOR WW2 BIRDS Fat T is above, thin T is below. Long T is faster, Short T is slower. Open triangle is AWACS, closed triangle is your own sensors. Double dash is friendly, Single dash is enemy. Circle is friendly. Strobe is jammer. Strobe to dash is under 35 km. HDD is 7 times range key. Radar to 160 km, IRST to 10 km. Stay low, but never slow.
