How do you properly use 5mil targeting for CCIP? I tilt down 3 degrees but the line is dashed, at times I have to tilt farther than if I just used regular CCIP, how do you properly use this thing!

the 5 mil consent to release is effective with -ve pitch of -4 and more. it's not accurate as CCIP, but it helps with shallow dives....

Fat T is above, thin T is below. Long T is faster, Short T is slower. Open triangle is AWACS, closed triangle is your own sensors. Double dash is friendly, Single dash is enemy. Circle is friendly. Strobe is jammer. Strobe to dash is under 35 km. HDD is 7 times range key. Radar to 160 km, IRST to 10 km. Stay low, but never slow.

So use 5 mil if I don't want to lose or can't lose a lot of altitude

 

precisely, low altitude, small 'depth under keel', that sort of thing. normally I go 8 k and release at 6 k with sufficient leeway to recover and observe BDA...
