tflash Posted October 29, 2005 Posted October 29, 2005 I have a Cyborg Evo Force joystick and although it is claimed by Saitek to be "autocalibrating", I really need to do some rudder and pitch trim. In the control options however in Lockon, I can't assign an axis to pitch trim or rudder trim, since the stick only has 3 axes and all are used for normal flight. Is there a work arounf for this? Can't I assign trim to the arrow keys or so? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Force_Feedback Posted October 29, 2005 Posted October 29, 2005 You can solve your problems just by moving the stick in circles a couple of times before you start the mission, that way the joystick will callibrate itself. If that doesn't help, try setting a larger deadzone, and if that fails, hope you still got your guarantee on it, cuz your pot(s) are broken. Creedence Clearwater Revival:worthy:
tflash Posted October 29, 2005 Author Posted October 29, 2005 That seems to do the trick. Trimming would be better, but I'm at least again enjoying the concept of level flight! Many tnx! [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Force_Feedback Posted October 29, 2005 Posted October 29, 2005 Np, and the EVO is one hell of a joystick (even for its price), I've got mine for like 2 years, and even the z-axis is still as perfect as on day 1! Given my experience with Logitechs, that break down after 3 weeks, it's a remarkable piece of engineering, go Saitek! Creedence Clearwater Revival:worthy:
