zoom setting on multiplayer

I have a custom zoom setting in the game since I have this mapped to an axis

when on a mp server this is disabled, so my zoom-out looks all fisheyed

does mp have this setting and can it be changed?

This is because the mission designer have included the view settings for each aircraft in the mission. This is done by running "Prepare mission" in mission editor. There is no way to solve this unless the mission designer removes the config inside the mission file itself.

They should leave that setting alone.

One of the best thing you can do on this or any flight sim is map the zoom axis to a toe on your rudder pedals. Then you can zoom in and out at any speed and without using any of your hand controls.

The full zoom out on this game is too wide so it's necessary to adjust it in the config file to about 90d, maybe it varies depending on your monitor setup but adjusting to your taste is really necessary. Locking this in mp makes it unplayable.
