Minimizing the game

I found a very annoying problem: Every time DCS gets minimized while flying (menus work) i can't maximize it again. It just shows that "DCS stopped working" message and crashes. This applies to ALT-TAB as well as the calculator button and program caused minimizes. This is very annoying as my game gets minimized approximately every hour due to some java update or something like that. I also can't join a TS while flying.

Go to options and enable "window mode"

Thanks for your reply. I am going to try this. I know this is only a workaround so i would love to have that fixed so i can use fullscreen.

Yes, but you souldnt see a difference between windowed and fullscreen. (maybe less fps)

i only have 35 on lowest settings so fps are critical on my pc. anyway i am going to try it.

:( i can't login to mp anymore. after connect to master server i get a CTD. I don't think this has anything to do with windowed mode. reverting the settings to fullscreen mode doesn't solve the problem.

its not you its dcs, just keep trying sometimes it takes 10 mins to login other times hours.

 

its a bug
