moken Posted September 22, 2012 Posted September 22, 2012 Hi all, I have Korry 318 mon button but I just know the 1 and 2 are for Lamp, other 2 hole can not active, :helpsmilie: Who can tell me how to connect? How to open it? How to use? Whether I miss something? This something Where to buy?
Deadman Posted September 22, 2012 Posted September 22, 2012 (edited) You have an Indicator not a push button switch as indicated by the schematic on the side of the 318 indicator. Hooking it up would depend on what your connecting it to. Where are you planing on using it? You can purchase them on eBay some time but there are indicators and several types of switches. So you have to know what your going to use it for to deside what type of switch to purchase. Korry 318 1/2 x 1-Inch Indicator Life-of-the-aircraft LED lighting Sunlight readability Low surface temperature Shock- and vibration-proof performance with latched cap and secure contacts Optional switch for illumination-test or press-to-reset function Choice of ground- or positive-seeking circuit Also available with incandescent lamps http://www.esterline.com/controlsystems/KORRY/Switches.aspx Edited September 25, 2012 by Deadman https://forum.dcs.world/topic/133818-deadmans-cockpit-base-plans/#comment-133824 CNCs and Laser engravers are great but they can't do squat with out a precise set of plans.

moken Posted September 23, 2012 Author Posted September 23, 2012 (edited) Why have push function? For what? 2 hole for what? Thanks a lot, DM Edited September 23, 2012 by moken
JG14_Smil Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 (edited) If you were to use this as a MWS (main warning system) light in the Blackshark, you need a push button to shut off the warning. Your indicator does not have the button built in, so it can only be used as a light. You would need to wire a momentary button if you want to turn it on and off manually. Or get another that has the button installed in it. It will work fine for exported lights though. The extra two holes may be there for the button circuit, but that exact light did not have the circuit installed. hope it helps. Edited September 23, 2012 by JG14_Smil 1
