Training Missions And Space Bar

Going through the training missions and find it difficult because the space bar will not respond in a timely manner when the instructor calls for it.

 

Actually, that's another issue. Since upgrading to 1.2, there is no voice for the instructor.

 

Any help is appreciated.

There is a hotfix file to solve this problem. Search the forum or go to the user created files and download.

The hotfix was for the voice instructions. As for the spacebar, you might try waiting a few seconds after the instructions before hitting the space bar. It does work, at least for me on DCS World v1.2.0.

The spacebar works just fine. The problem is once you move on to the next trigger or the next set of commands, there is no way to stop the old message from playing and start the new one. So, the trainer puts in stops or timers into the training that are usually just long enough to finish the speech so that you don't have the run over. Wait until the instructor is finished speaking then press the spacebar. An example of this behavior would be a step where you have to flip a set of switches. If your fast enough, you will notice that you have to wait a few seconds until the speech is done before it highlights the next set of switches.
