Orbital ATK has a hot production line for rocket motors that power some of the military’s most widely used missiles like the Hellfire. This week it is scheduled to deliver the 100,000th rocket motor to Hellfire manufacturer Lockheed Martin.

The IFPC Inc 2-I Multi Mission Launcher launches a Longbow Hellfire missile against a UAS representative target on White Sands Missile Range. The MML is a new air defense system undergoing testing on WSMR to integrate new control systems and missiles.

The AGM-114L5 missile is an AGM-114L missile with a software modification and is intended to give the missile an electronic counter-countermeasures (ECCM) capability against RF missile jammers.

 

If the AGM-114L5 missile is unsuccessful with anti-jamming, the missile may decide to switch modes to Home on Jammer. This will cause the missile to turn towards the jamming system and impact it.
