seikdel Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 Okay, I realize that I'm obsessing over lighting issues lately. Let's just say that I finally got the HDR working and I'm thrilled with how important lighting has become in the game. Anyway, when you have your landing light turned on and you're sitting on the ramp, if you click the switch down one position to "Off", it still animates the light slowly moving down as iff it's retracting. This seems odd to me, because it just turns the landing light off and leaves it in the same position. Come to think of it, when you switch it to "Retract", it turns the light off before retracting it. What's up with the animation where the light slowly recedes down?
JG14_Smil Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 (edited) You are correct... just checked the manual. but, I've seen videos of the KA-50 flying at night and the spot light is shining straight down from the retracted position for landing. Edited October 24, 2012 by JG14_Smil
seikdel Posted October 25, 2012 Author Posted October 25, 2012 I'm pretty sure that they just slew it down. Regardless, as far as I can tell, we shouldn't be seeing this animation. On a side note, do the devs read this forum and fix things brought up here, or do actual bug reports need to be created?
Dejjvid Posted October 25, 2012 Posted October 25, 2012 Producers, devs, moderators and testers regularly browse the forums. But with the pipeline full of new titles i don't think they'll fix this 'issue' any time soon. i7 8700K | GTX 1080 Ti | 32GB RAM | 500GB M.2 SSD | TIR5 w/ Trackclip Pro | TM Hotas Warthog | Saitek Pro Flight Rudder [sigpic]http://www.132virtualwing.org[/sigpic]
