Mission Builder error Invalid Freq with A-10C. After adding FC3, and everything seems good, went into mission builder adding objects and aircraft, red and blue sides. Get message that when I add A-10C I get error when trying to save mission 'invalid Freq' I tried changing freq, match airbase, and when I try to save stil get error. I am trying ot add A10-C and A-10A at same base, also other aircraft, Ka-50, F-15C, etc...

I have never seen this before I checked and unchecked several options, but still get error in mission builder when trying to save.

anyone know what is going on? I am baffled..

btw,, I put it in the FC3 forum, because I installed these aircraft with FC3 then added then aircraft, and never saw the errors over all these years of making missions,, before FC3, never had these errors....

I am going to attach the two logs from then (last night), it appears, it stopped making one log and started another.. and I read them... but I didn't understand what info, in those logs help,, but then again I am not trained for understanding the logs..

I fiddled around trying to figure out how to save the missions,, what would happen was the radio freq for the airbase would not seem to work, and I would try with another frequency in the mission builder for the aircraft (from the list of radio frequencies for each airbase, from the list), and I would also try another airbase, nothing helped,, and then I figured out some way to save them without the error, but i had to do some manipulation, so I could save the message without the error 'invalid freq' popping up.. at this moment my mind is drawing a blank... the problem wasn't solved, or fixed, I just finally found a way to save and close the mission builder.

thank you.

;)

Hmmm, I wonder if its the following: By default the mission editor uses VHF AM frequencies for all AI flights. Once you change a flight of A-10Cs to client or player it changes the frequency used to UHF AM. Both of which have a pretty different range of possible frequencies.

The right man in the wrong place makes all the difference in the world.

I have the same error and didnt find any solution. And that error prevent me to save my mission.

I want to build a basic mission for training. I used only 3 A10 in client mod on senaki.

I've had this error as well when attempting to force my VHF AM radio to start with 131.00 tuned-in at mission start (i.e. ATC for Batumi).

To solve it, I simply supplied the box with valid UHF frequencies instead (in my case, I selected 251). Unfortunately, I never did figure out how to configure my A-10C to start with VHF AM 131.00 dialed-in.
