YeaImRota Posted November 15, 2012 Posted November 15, 2012 (edited) Whenever I fly one of the FC3 jets (other than the F-15) and first enter the cockpit, the view is slowly zoomed out to a bit wider FOV just like with any other aircraft in the game. However, when I use my TrackIR, the view is immediately zoomed back in to nearly having my face against the HUD. I cannot zoom out the view manually, nor zoom it in. I am only able to move my head forwards and backwards using my TrackIR. This happens in all of the non-6DOF cockpits. The Su-25T is the worst offender as you are zoomed in so far that you can only see half of the HUD. Is there a fix or a setting I can change that will use the correct default eye point without disabling my TrackIR Z axis? Any help is much appreciated. Mike Busutil Posted November 15, 2012 Posted November 15, 2012 I believe F12 is the default key to center the tracker IR. Maybe you can position yourself closer the the screen and press F12, than when you sit back, your view will be normal... Just a thought. Dejjvid Posted November 15, 2012 Posted November 15, 2012 This is a bug that's been present for ages. Obviously not a priority to fix. I don't use TIR for zooming, i use the slider on my Warthog throttle. So i have to rock it a few times every time i join a helicopter or aircraft. i7 8700K | GTX 1080 Ti | 32GB RAM | 500GB M.2 SSD | TIR5 w/ Trackclip Pro | TM Hotas Warthog | Saitek Pro Flight Rudder [sigpic]http://www.132virtualwing.org[/sigpic]
S77th-konkussion Posted November 16, 2012 Posted November 16, 2012 ^^ Ditto. Disable the Z axis in TiR and use a button on your stick/ or or mouse. Shame it doesn't work as slick as the rest. [sIGPIC]http://forums.eagle.ru/attachment.php?attachmentid=43337&d=1287169113[/sIGPIC]
