SharpeXB Posted November 21, 2012 Posted November 21, 2012 I am noticing when I press the weapon release there is a delay or sometimes it doesn't function. I assume when Siri says "shoot shoot" I must be locked and there's a box around the target on the HUD or I have it designated on the VSD as a star. On the A-10C you hold the button down and there's a slight delay but in the F-15C it's like the weapon doesn't launch till I release the button. I know this is a Beta or I could be doing something else wrong. i9-14900KS | ASUS ROG MAXIMUS Z790 HERO | 64GB DDR5 5600MHz | iCUE H150i Liquid CPU Cooler | ASUS TUF GeForce RTX 4090 OC | Windows 11 Home | 2TB Samsung 980 PRO NVMe | Corsair RM1000x | LG 48GQ900-B 4K OLED Monitor | CH Fighterstick | Ch Pro Throttle | CH Pro Pedals | TrackIR 5

I have noticed similar, but its not on release for me, its just a matter of holding the launch button long enough... not sure if that's working as intended as I have never fired a missile from a real F-15 :D Forum Rules • My YouTube • My Discord - NineLine#0440• **How to Report a Bug**
GGTharos Posted November 21, 2012 Posted November 21, 2012 Air to air missiles take their time to launch (depending on the missile of course). There are a bunch of reasons for this - radar AAMs may need to tune their receivers to the shooter's radar frequency, they may have to run a BIT, download data, get the batteries started, etc. etc. The missile should launch after the button is held down long enough though, not upon release.
