Latest version of TrackIR5 software is running and tracking my movements and when I launch 1.2.2 TrackIR is shown in control options. But in-game I'm getting no head movement, only with mouse. LEDs on the device would suggest it's still functioning whilst DCS is running.

Ideas anyone?

I couldn't get it to work with Win8 either but that was beta a few months ago and there were no proper drivers. Did you try the beta drivers from naturalpoint and do you have run as admin checked in your shortcut for TIR?

It's working fine here on Windows 8 / TIR5 / DCSW 1.2.2, using TIR 5.2 software (beta 02 and final version both work) ...

Did you confirm the mapping for TrackIR in the controls of each module? ("axis commands")

Both LED's should be green when DCSW is active (left = tracking, right = game running). If both are orange then TIR is paused.

Yes, both LEDs are green when in the sim. TrackIR has it's own column in controls but there is nothing mapped there. Can't remember if there was before though or if that's just normal.

TIR needs to be mapped, for each flyable/module. If there are no mappings, you can restore the default mapping by selecting each item and pressing the "default" button at the bottom. Make sure to check all flyables.

Thanks, I'll give this a shot.

Ok... it appears to be a problem linked to the Su-25T. Ka-50 is tracking. In Control>General>Axis Commands TrackIR is mapped. But if I go to the Su-25T>Axis Commands nothing is mapped. And the things that are mapped in 'General' (for example, 'Absolute Horizontal View') aren't even listed under Su-25T. I've also tried pressing default whilst having the TrackIR column selected and nothing happens.

Strange.

I've attached a screenshot of the Su-25T "axis commands" screen.

If the options are different on your system, you may solve the problem by following these steps:

- Delete the TrackIR settings file in the "C:\Users\<your-user-name>\Saved Games\DCS\Config\Input\su-25T\trackir" folder

- Start the TrackIR software

- Start DCS and go to Options\ Controls \ Su-25T \ Axis Commands and press OK to save the settings.

Thanks for the assist ALDEGA. It worked. Don't know how I got the problem in the first place since it was a fresh install on a fresh system.
