JTAC; No tasking available?

Hello everyone,

I've tried putting together my first JTAC mission today, as I wanted to try a simple night scenario, but whilst I can make contact with him, I'm always told that there is no tasking available. I've attached the mission, since it would probably be easiest for you to see what's going on that way, so if anyone would be prepared to take a look at it, that would be very much appreciated.

I don't know much about this stuff really yet but I have heard that if your JTAC dude has any sort of obstructed view to the targets (elevation for example) it can cause these types of problems.

hmm... Thanks for the suggestion; I've moved him to a place where there's a clear line of site now though, and still no joy.

Ah, well, I've found the issue; he insists on me having guided munitions onboard, but the whole point of this mission was for me to be able to use unguided ones in conjunction with the NVGs and the IR pointer. In light of this, does anyone know how to make him let me use unguided munitions?

I belive I read many threads here on the forums that JTAC is currently broken. Repeating armaments, not responding ect. This may be just another side of the same coin.

When you set the FAC ASSIGN GROUP, there is an option that lets you pick what weapon and designation to use in the box that pops up..

Thanks, I did see that, and tried it, but that causes the same problem, causing him to tell me that there is no available tasking.

Have a littlebit different problem with the JTAC.

Call the JTAC is not a problem, he said the 9 Line, Lasercode and so on.

But when i ready " to copy the Remarks", nothing happen, no answer from the JTAC anyway.

 

I have this problem in other JTAC Missions, too.

 

Any ideas?

Just one. Contact him again, and again, and again... He will answer, sooner or later. It always works for me.
