How to set EGI on nav panel

I am trying to learn thE start up procedures from cold and dark. On thE nav panel under the UFC, the HARS button is lit. When I try to push the EGI button, it won't engage. I have already started the cud and aligned the system . What am I doing wrong?

You have to wait until your navigation system has completed the alignment procedure. In the image below (from Arclight over at Subsim), click OSB 9 once T = 4.0 0.8. Once this is done, you can enable EGI, EAC, and RDR ALTM.

you should know that the community is busy to create short and well explanatory tutorials, one only need to read them...and of course find them in the first place...that's why we have the Eagle dynamics wiki, which is quite fast accessable right from the top of this forum. by entering the wiki, you´ll find everythings you need.

 

an advice. Go to wiki --> DCS World --> and then the Warthog module
