Ramstein Posted December 8, 2012 Posted December 8, 2012 Why would one want command to eject power cover? actually there is power cover 1,2, and 3. I was looking at eject commands and saw these, and wondered why? I guess I need to try it to see what happens? JG14_Smil Posted December 8, 2012 Posted December 8, 2012 (edited) The three switches under the cover are 1,2,3. I may be the only person in the world that uses switches under my switch covers, but anyone that use a GUI switch needs the command too. I don't think there is am export binding for the ejection handle. For the record: you are not ejecting the cover, it covers the 3 ejection energizing switches. Edited December 8, 2012 by JG14_Smil
Weta43 Posted December 8, 2012 Posted December 8, 2012 I set the switched - don't you ? You mustn't have to eject as often as I do :) Cheers.
Robin_Hood Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 Why would one want command to eject power cover? It's more like, covering/uncovering the eject switches, not ejecting the covers ;) 2nd French Fighter Squadron
Ramstein Posted December 9, 2012 Author Posted December 9, 2012 I don't know... I just remember, when I need to eject, I eject.. I never noticed having to mess with any covers.. and saw these eject cover commands, 1,2,3... and wondered.. wth?? how did I do all those ejections over the years and not notice the cover commands?? ASUS Strix Z790-H, i9-13900, WartHog HOTAS and MFG Crosswind G.Skill 64 GB Ram, 2TB SSD EVGA Nvidia RTX 2080-TI (trying to hang on for a bit longer) 55" Sony OLED TV, Oculus VR
Pyroflash Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 When you arm the ejection seat, you need to pop open the covers to move the switches. This is what those commands are referring to. If you aim for the sky, you will never hit the ground.

Weta43 Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 I don't know... I just remember, when I need to eject, I eject They're not the 'eject' switches ,they turn the ejection system 'on'. If you start with the engines running, they're already set. Cheers.
