sobek Posted December 21, 2012 Posted December 21, 2012 Did i understand correctly that you tried to deactivate after the hardware change? If so, this has to happen prior to changing the hardware. Good, fast, cheap. Choose any two. Come let's eat grandpa! Use punctuation, save lives!
SkateZilla Posted December 21, 2012 Author Posted December 21, 2012 Did i understand correctly that you tried to deactivate after the hardware change? If so, this has to happen prior to changing the hardware. I Upgraded my CPU, Tried to Run DCSW, loaded a Mission for one of the modules I was working on. During Loading I was Prompted for Both A-10C and FC3 to be re-activated, and they failed. So I tried to De-Act, and the protect.exe would crash. I Fixed it by Wiping out the /Eagle Dynamics/ data from HKLM Registry. blkspade Posted December 21, 2012 Posted December 21, 2012 I made a recent move from a 1055t to 8350, just to have this happen as well. Though I only have FC2 and 3, I quickly found the solution in a reg file posted in the forums. http://104thphoenix.com/
