Just put your own email in the recipients andress and then browse your comp for the video you want to upload. There will be a link provided to your email, and the recipients email where they will click to download the file. Once you get the link you can either post it here or pm the people who wanted it ;) Note: The down side is it is only up for 7 days or a limited amount of D/L's, but you can send up to a GIG! P.S. I think this is the same video on patricks site, but it is the best Faklands footage I have seen! Kula66 Posted December 3, 2005 Posted December 3, 2005 Interesting video (terrible music) ... I remember watching it on the news at the time - those Arg A-4/Dagger pilots were certainly courageous! It was certainly a good job their bombs were fuzed incorrectly!
LaRata Posted December 3, 2005 Posted December 3, 2005 I have not found any real A2A online but I have some footage on VHS of an F/A-18C shooting down a MiG-21 in the 1991 Gulf War. It was a flight of 4 Hornets each armed with 4 Mk-84 on a bombing mission to H3. They were then intercepted by a pair of MiG-21s. The Hornets were given warning in time by an E-2C. The MiGs came at them head on at around M1.2. Lt.cdr Mark Fox was leading the flight of Hornets and he go a lock on the first MiG and his wingman locked up the second. As quoted from Lt.cdr Fox ''We quickly switched radar modes from air to ground to air to air and I got a lock on one of the MiGs, they came at us nose on at about M1.2, I fired a Sidewinder followed by a Sparrow, the Sidewinder hit and Sparrow flew into the fireball.'' His wingman got the second, then flight of four then continued on their mission and bombed the airbase. The video actually showed the HUD footage of that kill in black and white. I have similar VHS video but some point... 1. They was 2 x F/A-18 not 4. 2. The F/A-18 have 4 x MK-82 not MK-84 3. The F/A-18 have no AIM-7 ; only AIM-9. " This supose to be a second Atack on destroyed AirField when the 2 x Mig-21 take off." 4. The F/A-18 calling Mig-29 firts at its believe that the Mig-21 was `29s. 5. The 2 x IQAF Mig-21 was shoot Down when it turned to Iran and try to flee the Air Combat ! This was the main IQAF shoot Down was when he`s trying to flee the combat not trying to face NATO combat planes.
