jers Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 Is there any word on the bug where when you crash with a user hosting, you can't join their server again until you clear your network.cfg and join another server, then come back? This is really becoming a thorn in our side.

jers Posted December 29, 2012 Author Posted December 29, 2012 Further update, when the host changed the mission, the problem went away, when we are done with this I'll confirm if the mission works again when we reload the original mission.

ENO Posted December 30, 2012 Posted December 30, 2012 Do any of them have Tankers? AWACS? Predators? JTAC? Tankers seems the predominant one. Are you on LAN setting? Is everyone? Is the server? Is someone on the same router as the server? Then see above. It's not JUST forcing scenes- it's also forcing traffic. It's also when missions are made on one computer with one setting and then played on another without having first been actually saved on the "host" machine. So go back into mission editor and SAVE all missions ON the host machine. And if it's none of those things... well then... guess we're waiting until mid Jan for a fix. Good thing is it sounds like it's been given some priority so be patient. I know we've taken to flying MP with 1.1.1.1 for the most part now- and strictly no forced anything and no tankers. Again- tankers seems to be the biggest issue. It doesn't happen ALL the time to ALL users- but typically it'll happen to someone- Last night we were playing a mission and the tanker version of the mission was being played and everyone was fine- but I couldn't log in- kept crashing. The night before, I accidentally hosted the same mission (with tanker) and I was able to join (I'm on the same router as the server- different comp) yet one of our other players who has two computers in his basement wasn't able to join while the second computer was logged on. Man- there are a lot of variables... you just need to be patient and work through them like the rest of us. Hope this helps.
