hog driver looking for a group to fly with.

I'm 26 years old from the southern US GMT -6, and I'm looking for a group of virtual pilots to fly with.

I've covered most of the basics of the A-10 charlie, and now I'm looking forward to expanding and learning in a multiplayer environment.

My flight experience and equipment is as follows. Rock solid PC and internet connection, mono headset for voice coms, Track IR, a saitek x52 HOTAS system, experience in IL2 since forgotten battles, 2000+ hours virtual flying time with FS9 and FSX combined, 200+ hours in LOMAC, and 200+ hours in Falcon 4.0 BMS.

Hopefully this post will spark someone's interest in putting me under wing. I was part of a virtual campaign type squadron when I flew IL2- It was sort of like having a dynamic campaign; each campaign day we flew missions, and then at the end of the day all of the kills were tallied and the commanders would make troop movements based on the attrition etc, if I could find that in a DCS environment, I'd be in sim heaven.

Hey cookie. Welcome to the C version simulator, 95% authentic. There are a number of virtual squadrons available @ the squadron directory, and of all, there are currently 2 hardcore, ruthless vSqn.s; the Flying Tygers HQ'd @ UK, and the 476th HQ'd @ USA. Since you've mentioned you're somewhat prepped well into throwing shit, I'd recommend Tygers, or get in line for 476th (a year at least of wait). Most squadrons voice server is Teamspeak, although TARS (tactical aviation radio system) is occasionally used, each squadron has their required modules/software to be in comms.

I've been part of Mercs vSqn. and currently play 1.1.1.1 (standalone). Just waiting for world to stabilize, but multiplayer is far more exciting than singleplayer. There are workshops held from time to time without obligation to join specific Vsqn's, just to give experience to those needed but can't get time to dedicate due to RL issues, so always check Community News for the latest. There are couple RL crew chiefs here, Paulrkii is one to mention, should you need to bond with RL Hog Lads..

Once again, welcome to the mean machine called Hog simulator, enjoy your stay and once again, GET SOME!!!

AWAITING ED NEW DAMAGE MODEL IMPLEMENTATION FOR WW2 BIRDS

Fat T is above, thin T is below. Long T is faster, Short T is slower. Open triangle is AWACS, closed triangle is your own sensors. Double dash is friendly, Single dash is enemy. Circle is friendly. Strobe is jammer. Strobe to dash is under 35 km. HDD is 7 times range key. Radar to 160 km, IRST to 10 km. Stay low, but never slow.

welcome! i know what you mean about the dynamic campagin co-op, they are alot of fun, but require a heap of work to maintain!!

here is the spash screen i used for my last set of missions to give you an tiny insight into one of those.

Shouldn't be a year wait, we're "tweaking" how we go about doing training with the hopes that it'll move things along quicker.

@Dasm...the biggest thing is to check a few out, see which one fits what you're looking for. Each has it's pros and cons...of course I'm partial to the 476th since I'm the Commander but there are many good virtual organizations out there!

As I have answered almost all of these questions I will respond with the 2 I didn't answer- No, it doesn't have 6dof, but the X and Y suits me fine. And My diet consists of nearly everything and anything.

I've been waiting for the 476th to open recruitment for about 3 months now, though I recently made a forum account.
