SuperSix2 Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 Hey all, I finally found my ps3 eye camera and installed the driver for so its working. I have never used any type of head tracking at all. So I was seeing if anyone could help if there are any profiles already for DCS: A-10(2.2.- for DCS World). I'm running Win7 64bit. also how to calibrate camera or if i need to get a head device like i've seen some people have. Any responses would be much appreciated...Thanks!!!
pacotito Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 I'm not sure if there are profiles as its more a user preference. I'm currently using facetracknoir and it does the job once you get it tuned. I've never tried trackir or facetrack but I hear they work much better. I find myself having to pause tracking a lot of times due to the view bouncing and not being able to flip switches.I have a rather large dead zone at center due to this as well. If you can't get it to work properly in sim check this thread. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=87436&highlight=freetrack&page=7 Pacotito I7-5820k@4.5 Z99 extreme4 16gb ddr4 520gb ssd. pacotito Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 You also need a config file in the racetrack directory where the exe is located to get 60fps from the camera. Here is the link as to what you need. http://codelaboratories.com/forums/viewthread/117/P10/ Pacotito I7-5820k@4.5 Z99 extreme4 16gb ddr4 520gb ssd. SuperSix2 Posted January 2, 2013 Author Posted January 2, 2013 Thanks for the responce. I've gotten those downloads and am currently using this thread as a reference:http://www.ru.wiki.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=79645
pacotito Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 In the forum I posted there is an updated dll and an input.lua. I'm not sure if they are still needed but it used to not work without those files. You would have the control settings in the options but no response in sim. SuperSix2 Posted January 2, 2013 Author Posted January 2, 2013 Hey I got it working through the link I put on as a reference. The only thing I did different was just the directory on where to put the one file in the bin with DCS world. Works great. Only complaint is the jittery but i haven't touched any of the settings yet. Frame rate is great also!!!
pacotito Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 glad to hear you got it working Pacotito I7-5820k@4.5 Z99 extreme4 16gb ddr4 520gb ssd. Gigabyte ssc GTX960 SSC 4gb
SkateZilla Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 i gave on on this a while ago, as I started having tracking issues, and constant crashing when exiting a mission.
