City Builder Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 Hi, I own the BlackShark on steam but many people were suggesting that I buy the Warthog on the DCS site instead of steam so I did. Now what? I've downloaded the Warthog and am currently downloading the DCS World software. Do I need to install the DCS world software to use the warthog or do I just install the warthog program and not bother with the DCS world software? Thanks
NullSpace Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 Install DCS: World, and then A-10C, the A-10C install should install it as a module to DCS: World. You can also download Black Shark on the eagle dynamics site and then use the CD-key you got from steam on that, to install that also as a module for DCS: World. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
pacotito Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 Only blackshark 2 will integrate into dcs world. If I'm not mistaken bs on steam is the original. Pacotito I7-5820k@4.5 Z99 extreme4 16gb ddr4 520gb ssd. Gigabyte ssc GTX960 SSC 4gb

Lange_666 Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 Just a little extra tip: If you are going the DCS World direction, make sure you download the correct files for each module and check the files integrity. There are just to many posts from people having problems with this (imho) and get frustrated when they get things not working. If your files are OK (mine always where except for one "hanged" download once), installation should be straight forward. Personal Wish List: A6 Intruder, Vietnam theater, decent ATC module, better VR performance!
