Anna2flieg Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 Hallo friends, some days ogo I got the new DCS-world with Su-25T, P-51 and A-10. Now I started to have a look for the tutorials. My Joystick LOGITECH Extreme 3D PRO is funtioning very well for the A-10 and the P-51. With the Su-25T achieved some problems: 1. The throttle from idle to increase to max. thrust and then back is out of order - no function! 2. The trigger / canonfire is also out of order. (but I programmed it) I have exact the same problems with my CH Flight Sim Yoke - i believe I have to know some special commands? Pl., kindly have the pleasure and help. faithfully Heinz-Dieter
Darkwolf Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 Maybe some ideas : In order to use canon, you have to enter A2G mode (number 7 on main keyboard not Keypad). Then select the canon (touch C). Have you tried that ? If i remember well, A10 and P51 don't have those protocols. For the Thrust, you may want to check your axis in the control menu. I know that with nearly all my joysticks, it's not set properly by default. Try to reassign axis even if something is shown in the "Thrust" config. Good luck, hope it help ! SFAL Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 my experience with tihis was the same go to options axis assing and delete ALL commands in ALL colums then re set them... set AG mode NAV mode on your hotas if you have 2 stage trigger then have stage 1 to override AP and stage 2 to select gun. the gun will fire with the release weapon anyways and this way it on the stick. the overide will come very handy since you can do a lot with AP. for exaple... lased bomb release.... u lock it up engage "route folow mode" hold down override... get close and reengage the AP by releaseing override and voala.... perfect relese.... send a private msg if u need more tips
