PilotWollek Posted January 12, 2013 Posted January 12, 2013 Hello guys, what do you think about my new computer, what can i change? https://www.mindfactory.de/shopping_cart.php/basket_action/load_basket_extern/id/bb608722072c16ebeaa49177d250b9fa322cecf8671adba225a
EtherealN Posted January 12, 2013 Posted January 12, 2013 I would suggest switchin the CPU to i5-3570K. 20 euros extra, but gives you the future option to overclock the processor. Lange_666 Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 PowerSupply 530W? I would go higher, giving you a bit more edge, say 750W (or up). Win11 Pro 64-bit, Ryzen 5800X3D, Corsair H115i, Gigabyte X570S UD, EVGA 3080Ti XC3 Ultra 12GB, 64 GB DDR4 G.Skill 3600. Madone Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 Maybe take a motherboard with more RAM capacity? Could be useful if you want to use a RAMdisk in the future for example. As said EtherealN, a "K" version is the way to go if you want to make some overclocking :) The PSU should be 650W to allow a nice overclocking and if you don't expect a Crossfire later. 530W is enough, AMD recommend 500W for that card. Rhinox Posted January 15, 2013 Posted January 15, 2013 Maybe take a motherboard with more RAM capacity? IMHO all mobos for s1155 have max 4x DDR3 (4x8GB). It is chipset-limited. If you need more RAM, you have to switch to s2011 (X79, max 8x DDR3) or s1366 (X58, max 6x DDR3).
