BS 2 1.1.1.1 to 1.2.2.2

Is there a patch for BS 2 ver 1.1.1.1 to enable it to be incorporated into dcs world. thanks.

Yes. Simply uninstall the standalone BS2, then install DCS World and the BS2 module for DCS world.

thanks would that be ver 1.2.2 and i use the same serial number?

You use the same key, exactly. 1.2.2 is the present version of DCS World and all the modules, yes.

Remember you again need BS1 installed parallel or at least the installation must still be inside your windows registry, to be able to activate the BS2 upgrade.

i have the full version 2 not the upgrade

Your BS2 serial key will be fine. Just make sure you dont install the module marked upgrade or it will not work.

 

1. Download and install world http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/index.php?ProductId=21&end_pos=137&scr=product&lang=en

2. Download and install http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/index.php?scr=product&ProductId=12&end_pos=136&lang=en (this is the english version)

3. The game should automatically detect your previous install and activate it in world.

 

personally, I would install world, and the BS2 module before uninstalling the previous version, but thats just me. Be sure to delete your settings files in saved games folder however. That can cause some issues if you try an import them into world. They are vastly different.

Thanks, its integrated into DCS World but when i goto activate i get the error message invalid hardware code

 

I downloaded the wrong version, it was late. now working thanks for all your help.
