DanKurt
I'm trying to get Force Correlate Track to work as per Gerry Abbott very helpful Youtube Demo. (2mins 25 secs in) I have tried and tried , but I am unable to get the TGP to follow the Mav sensor. I am using version 1.2.2 and I am also using a Warthog HOTAS. I put in Force correlate as follows: 1.Put MAV into Force Correlate (Boat Switch Center) then slew the Mav to the aprox target and then Ground Stabilize. 2. I then slew Mav sensor and get the Target gate to collapse, make a SPI from the MAV (TMS fwd LONG) and TGP should now follow the Mav sensor as in the video.:joystick: I must be missing something, so I'm hoping a kind soul on here could help me out or point me to a post that will help. Edited as I had put China Hat instead of Boat Switch. Thx ilikepie. Edited January 22, 2013 by DanKurt
ilikepie
don't you mean boat switch centre instead of china hat? china forward long should slave all, to soi's spi. Action After Contemplation
NoJoe
I'm terrible and I don't exactly remember which switches to hit, exactly, but: Basically what you want to do is: 0. Set the Mav as SOI with coolie hat left or right long 1. Make your Maverick's view the SPI with TMS forward long 2. China Hat forward long to slave all to SPI (this should slave the TGP to the Mav). Right? I can't remember what to hit to make the Mav the SPI, but that's a start. --NoJoe [EDIT] I looked it up in the manual. Additions are in italics. I really need to fly the Hawg more... WildBillKelsoe
? I can't remember what to hit to make the Mav the SPI, but that's a start. That would be the MFCD twice. Dejjvid
Not following you guys. To make any sensor SOI, coolie hat left/right LONG or press the corresponding MFCD button twice. If you want to create a SPI WITH the mav, TMS UP LONG, with the Mav as SOI. And to enter force correlate, move Boat switch forward, then center.
