Rongor Posted January 26, 2013 Posted January 26, 2013 It doesnt matter where you edit waypoint data (like the DTOT). - You can watch data in the CDUs own display or in the MFCD (on the CDU page) - You can give inputs to the CDU via the UFC, the OSKs of the MFCD (if CDU page is displayed) or the CDUs own keypad. - You can combine these inputs/displays to your own convenience...
mr_mojo97 Posted January 26, 2013 Author Posted January 26, 2013 Thanks, what i meant was though HOW do i set the dtot? Ta MSI M5 z270 | Intel i5 7600k (OC) 4.8GHz | MSI GTX1080ti Gaming X 11Gb | 500gb Samsung 970 Evo NVME M.2 (DCS World) | 500gb Samsung 850 Evo SSD (OS and Apps) | 32Gb 2400MHz DDR4 - Crucial Ballistix | Be Quiet Silent Loop 240mm | NZXT H440 case | Thrustmaster Warthog - 47608 with Virpil Mongoose joystick base | MFG Crosswinds - 1241 | Westland Lynx collective with Bodnar X board | Pilot's seat from ZH832 Merlin | JetSeat | Oculus Rift S | Windows 10 | VA |
WildBillKelsoe Posted January 26, 2013 Posted January 26, 2013 When you view the WAYPOINT page for any waypoint, the DTOT field is on the right side. By using the CDU or UFC keypads you can enter the hour/minute/second (xx-xx-xx) that you want to reach the waypoint and then press the LSK to the right of the DTOT label. This will set the DTOT for that waypoint. ^^ manual, page 471/672. For example, you are on Initial waypoint, next waypoint is MSN001. Set the waypoint with HUD and DMS up short. Then put CDU on MFCD, then on UFC, press FN then 3 then WAYPOINT then enter the clock time you want to be on target. (For instance it is 13:00:15 now - One o'clock and 15 seconds.) You want to be over MSN001 @ 14:20:35 - Twenty minutes past two o'clock and 35 seconds) Input as follows: 1 4 2 0 3 5 | then RSK next to DTOT field on the WAYPOINT page for that waypoint. AWAITING ED NEW DAMAGE MODEL IMPLEMENTATION FOR WW2 BIRDS Fat T is above, thin T is below. Long T is faster, Short T is slower. Open triangle is AWACS, closed triangle is your own sensors. Double dash is friendly, Single dash is enemy. Circle is friendly. Strobe is jammer. Strobe to dash is under 35 km. HDD is 7 times range key. Radar to 160 km, IRST to 10 km. Stay low, but never slow.
