Hi guys!

I need some help with s300 and the others complex. :helpsmilie:

I thought that an S-300 battery, high and low altitude.

What do I pack up together? There is another type of "red" side?

SA3, SA6, SA8, SA11, SA13, SA15, SA19

I thought of a variation (but that's just my idea):

54K6 CP

SR 5N66M

TR 30N6

3x LN 5P85D

Such is the "blue" side? Patriot complex? Or others???

THANKS Masters... :notworthy:

To get the SA3 to work you need to put together the SA3 Command vehicle, SA3 Radar/sensor vehicle and SA3 Missile platform together in 1 group.

Same goes for the others, intermixing doesnt work. NATO has patriots basicly and the Russian states the SA's. The higher the SA rate, the higher the range. SA3 are short range. The SA11's are not too bad. Patriots are like 'one size fits all'.

A testmiz is easy to set up. Just create a missile defence group of one or more types and fly an oposite side airplane into them at 12000. 3 waypoints, on all waypoints immortal + 'reaction to thread: nothing' and waypoint 2 needs a return to wp1.

Now watch the fun with F2 and F5. Or was it F6, cant remember. Theres radardetection on the first ring, missile lock on the 2nd ring and missile fire on the 3rd.

The NATO reporting name (SA-3, SA-10 etc) has nothing to do with range AFAIK. Consider that the Igla MANPAD is named SA-7, whereas SA-3 has quite good range.

Blue side has a lot more than just the patriot system. (Hawk, linebacker, chaparral, roland, stinger, SPAAAs) The patriot system is not 'one size fits all', it is comparable in role to the S-300 system

That's actually Strela-2.. Igla and Igla-1 are SA-18 and SA-16, respectfully.
